At Akron First Church of the Brethren, we encourage financial giving, which is used to support various ministries and operations of the church. We truly appreciate financial gifts, which are typically received through offerings by check and cash.

We also encourage gifts of time and talent.There are always opportunities to volunteer your time and talent at our Church including helping with fundraising events, assisting with our missions, and by sharing your musical, artistic and devotional talents during worship and your handyman or professional skills.

Giving is an important aspect of the Brethren life.The gospel writer Luke records that Jesus himself said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35).  At the our Church, we want to encourage all members to pray about giving, and to give as God leads them.​
